This place recently had their renovations and it looks spacious now except for the washrooms as it's still right infont of the dining area (weird). Fruits on the Berry Good Waffle are too sour. The place does not carry honey considering they serve tea. A bit expensive but worth it.

Ethno-anachronistic? Is that even a word? Made it up. Find there is a lot of Koreans making all kinds of food from other cultures. Not saying it is a good thing or bad; from sushi to pizza to err well waffles. Or perhaps that's alright, hybridization is not fusion but a different take on the "proper" way. Or is fusion? Waffles + decadence fusion.
Some love/hate fusion, I just have a natural curiosity.
Belgian waffle desserts? Felt really guilty not eating waffles as part of a wholesome breakfast/brunch meal. What the hey!?! (Years ago was novelty when BWH started; now its a common thing.)
Taste is sweet 8/10 but maybe a tad on the too sweet side. (Hold back the extra powder white sugar?)
Ambiance is cozy but a non place. Is it a waffle house or dessert place, coffee shop? Found objects and mix-mash style; seems to be the common theme in these fusion places. Unresolved or international juxtaposition of confusion? Meh. 6/10
Service is decent. They were quite attentive to our order and specific instructions. As all cashier based service, I am annoyed by all these atm machines asking for tips when there were no services rendered aside taking the order and my money. 7/10
Value? If you buy a package of waffles from Superstore; add some fruits and ice cream and toppings, will you be able to replicate these desserts under their prices 9-12$/each? Yes. And will it be taste significantly worse? Probably not. In fact, MBW is offering a concept but everything presented is not outstandingly or memorably tasty; value wise on the expensive side. But, you did come here for the ambiance, right? Value =6/10
27/40= 67.5%. Ok. Average. Had they use top quality ingredients in a well executed setting, the overall price may be justified. -

I was pleasantly surprised by the waffles here. The waffles came quickly and I thought that the size was decent given that I had dinner beforehand. I will definitely come back as there aren't that many places in Coquitlam to go for dessert. Definitely a hidden gem. I ordered the Berry good and the banana Nutella. I definitely recommend getting the waffles crispy. It was delicious.

I am not sure if they are currently renovating or closing, but it's one of my favourite places to have waffles in Coquitlam. I had tried all their variety of flavours of waffles and my favourite has to be B&W. I highly recommend this establishment as you can't find anything like it around here. Prices are very reasonable too!

One of the best waffle places in Coquitlam. The price is on point and the staff are super-friendly. It was not very busy when we arrived so we had all of the seats to choose from. Good selection of sweet waffles: we opted for the Mochaholic waffle. It was hard to resist.. but next time I will try the Oreo one. To drink we had the Caramel Macchiato. Overall it was pretty damn amazing. A simple interior, but still cozy and comfortable. I'll definitely return here!
